Teeth whitening

The whitening process can be done in two ways, in a clinical setting (office type) or at home, so that the person can apply it himself. We prefer office whitening because it is safer because the process will be short and it will be done by the physician.

Office type whitening; It is a process with an average of 2-3 sessions of 20 minutes. Sessions can be increased or decreased according to the desired result and tooth sensitivity. First of all, it is necessary to clean the calculus before starting the process to increase the permanence. Afterwards, the process is started, first the tooth color is selected before whitening, then the gum protector is applied to the teeth, then the tooth whitening chemical gel is applied to the teeth and it is expected to be activated by radiation. After the gel is kept on the teeth, it is cleaned and the tooth color is checked again. If necessary, the sessions are continued.

Teeth whitening, which is done in accordance with the procedures and under the control of a physician, does not harm the teeth. There may be a temporary sensitivity in the teeth, which varies from person to person, only during or after the procedure. It is a painless procedure.
